Shinee Gaston Jacobs takes a vision and makes it reality through the power of prayer and sound strategy development. Her background afforded her with invaluable experiences and knowledge which influenced her desire to help those in need of additional support. Being a part of communities with social economic issues helped her to become the catalyst for creating solutions and becoming the change that she wishes to see. As an overcomer she empathizes with others because she also faced challenges along the way. She leads mainly by example; always striving to do her best and encouraging others to the same. While optimistic by nature, no one doubts her authority as she is direct and decisive when she needs to be.


Shinee Gaston Jacobs is a skilled Financial professional offering 15+ years of creating metrics, tracking projects, and collaborating on the development of optimal budget requirements. Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, and communication skills with analytical and adaptable nature. She is well-versed in business principles and financial processes.


Shinee is a dynamic woman of faith with a vision for service and a heart for encouraging others. When she sees a need, she not only looks for a solution but often seeks to be the catalyst for the solution. With an eye towards uplifting others Shinee became the Founder & President of STORM Center of Hope & Service Inc., which is a community driven non-profit organization dedicated to assisting youth and young adults. STORM is an acronym for Set-Apart, Together, Overcomers, Resilient, and Mindfulness which are the guiding pillars in empowering young people to become the change that they wish to be. Shinee looks forward to applying her exceptional approach through her work with STORM by providing community awareness, various programs, guidance, and partnerships. She continues her efforts in working with a governing board to turn mandates into real-world policies and advance program objectives. Previously, her career started in the military as a Unit Supply Specialist, in higher education as a Director of Financial Aid, and a Business Operations Manager for post-secondary institutions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She was well known for her strong leadership and problem-solving skills that she continues to use today. Shinee exemplifies the quote “It’s not about me, it’s about my students.” This mentality did not go unnoticed and she was honored with the Extraordinary Customer Service Award by those in the highest levels of management. Her former managers characterize her as knowledgeable, caring, and professional.



Shinee graduated with honors receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Finance. The wife of a pastor and four children has kept her busy in the community actively leading church initiatives and community service projects.
